 Who can apply

The number of participants to the Workshop will be 25 graduate students and young post-graduate researchers from India, France and SE Asian countries including Bangladesh, Burma, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Maldives, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, The Philippines and Vietnam. Financial support will be allocated to the students to cover part of their travel expenses. The limited number of attendees is necessary to ensure high quality training sessions that will include hands-on training.

How to apply

Application must be submitted here. Please note that this is a Google form  and you will need to have and log to a Google account in order to load the  pdf file.

Before applying please prepare a single pdf file (max 10Mb) including:

  • a motivation letter detailing why you want to attend the workshop in relation with your current research and your longer term academic goals. For French applicants please indicate if you have any link with south Asia.
  • a detailed CV (2 pages max) including education, research experience, internship report, papers
  • at least one recommendation letter by one of your supervisor/teacher (in English).
